They are planning to start the airline again . At the moment they are searching for potential investors and currently a leading Fireworks manufacturer(Standard Fireworks) is interested in teaming up with Paramount and commence the airline operation !

@aviatorzuckerberg

Why are you only looking at an airline that does not even exist ?

WHy dont you try for IndiGo instead since you seem interested in paying for the type rating ?

Do you have an Indian DGCA license ?

^^
Yes excess IC pilots or pilots with bad image( Union guys) will be shunted out from IC to Paramount on deputation......don't think Paramount will hire from market ....may be some through references but don't keep hope on Paramount...
This way IC pilots will get flying time & money ....while Paramount gets revenue as working airline.

You will get deceived when things are going absolutely perfect& least expected at Paramount....they don't honour contracts of Expats or Locals.....more importantly heard that one FO who was with them on ERJ with 320 rating got told that he will be shifted to their new fleet as when it arrives.....this fellow was sitting idle since Jan 2010 or so.....

Personally I would do an about turn and SPRINT in the opposite direction! If it is still under the same management their business model is simple...take the money from tickets and then do not pay staff or lessors. I have heard horror stories as to what they did to the GECAS Embraer 190's before the planes were seized. Also, a good friend flew for them and got paid once in about 9 months and they also owe me a lot of money. They are crooks, plain and simple.

Indeed JB.

I have never wished bad luck on anyone in this industry before but I make an exception with these people..I hope they never ever get the chance to rip people off again. I was contacted by one of their associates wanting some Dash 8's, even though they had no money at the time...this is just typical of them. They would have taken the aircraft and then not actually wanted to pay for them.

There have been some really good people who have lost a great deal of money because of these disgraceful people and as I have said I would urge all you good people to have nothing to do with them and indeed spread the word.

This recent article is of no surprise whatsoever:

CBI raids Paramount Airway’s office in credit insurance case | Firstpost

Cheers

My god...i did not know they were such big crooks....i heard they have taken back some of the pilots who have been grounded from last year....they r also getting them type rated....tht CBI raid was becoz of financial mis-dealings.....how can i be sure that i will not be ripped off.....one silver lining is tht even after my type rating if they do not make me fly atleast will have a chance in other companies having A320...what is everybody's thought on tht...

Hi Zuckeberg,

It is your call but are you sure they are actually getting going? Please do NOT listen or trust anything they tell you, rather find out from independent sources.

If I was you I would think about this very carefully. Firstly, I know around twenty odd people who have either worked for Paramount or done business with them and all of us agree we will not go near them again. The staff who work for them are told directly from the top to lie to other staff (ie. expat flight crew) and business associates (an ex employee told me this). Also, do you really want to be going to a company after you've read the article I posted?

I lost around four months solid work to these people and almost lost everything, I would hate for anyone else to go through the same.

Cheers
