So what's the matter with Bangalore?

Heard a Kingfisher flight from Colombo declared a low fuel emergency while holding to get into Chennai yesterday. Did the crew have a problem with the fuel system?

According to an AAI official, the flight loitered overhead Chennai waiting to land.

The crew was aware of the runway closure between 14:30 and 16:30 too, thus no surprise here.

Good news that there was no smoking hole.
