@flanker: Better go brush up on your biology because you just made a door knob look smarter.

Anyways back on topic, yes rostering is a mess and the terms of contract are more confusing than a book written in Latin. New management means new sets of rules and procedures.

Reading your description how a typical Indian employer treats it's expat staff, caused me to have a series of flashbacks, reminding me of my 2 year nightmare on the subcontinent. That lot are the worst of the worst. Many are "on the take" if they can manage it, selfish, and no one, not one indigenous, ever had the b***s to back a fellow pilot when he/she was being shafted.

In these desperate times my advice would still be to stay away, if you value your health/sanity.

do as I say and not as I do

I am the Chief Pilot and only I can yell at everyone in the office before I go flying, forget to do my breathalyzer test, go flying and then blame everyone else around me because I am too cool for school. Oh and of course I never get in trouble.....

Did you hear - I did more than a 100 hours in 18 days .. do not tell DGCA.

You must be one of the guys down here, as you received this mail as well. Thats the way SpiceJet is treating its Q400 pilots.
Yes, this place is going down. More and more frustrated and homesick Greek´s.
Several others left now. Left behind big $ from overtime and payed for their own ticket back home.
