They are usually called in batches of 8, 1 batch in a week....have no clue when the next set of candidates would be called.

Good to see some life on this link..

I know only two people from Chennai who got the invite about two weeks back for the next round in Singapore.
They have to pay about 21K for to and fro trip, rest is taken care by SIA. The stay is 3 days in Singapore and back.

I believe they might be sending the mails place wise, and Mumbai and Chennai are done.

The speculations have been sort of correct..
There were 8 people in the 7th or may be 8th batch that attended the interview round in Singapore last week.
Out of 8 guys (5 Mumbai+ 3 Chennai), 2 of them cleared the round and went through the medical.
So i guess, all people from Mumbai who had not received any mail from them have finished their second round by now. Chennai people might start receiving the mails henceforth.

I'm amazed none of the guys from Chennai and Mumbai have posted their experiences.
Why all the secrecy?

Talking Why?

Why all the secrecy?

Simple. It is each man/woman/child for themselves at this point in time. :-)

Competitive world, ain't it?

Yep it was quite evident from the other thread that recruitment of cadets had been stopped for now.

Expect a call sometime after April.

@VT-JET

I have not attended the 2nd round..

Even guys who got selected in the 2nd round got mails saying it will be delayed for them. One of the SIA cadet from year 2007 was saying, they take 6 months after 2nd round, now that they r sending mails like this, it might be more wait than that for people who got thru the 2nd round..
