Blue Star - Soothing Light or Freight Train?

Guys,
I've just received an email from Blue Star Aviation congratulating me for being selected for their dubious program.
Contrary to what has been claimed earlier in this thread, they seem to be JAS-ANZ registered.
Certified Organisation Search » Joint Accreditation System of Australia & New Zealand (JAS-ANZ)
You google JAS-ANZ, click on "Certified Organisations" and in the search fields type Blue Star Aviation and select India for Country.

This isnt concrete proof that they are bonafide and I'm not going to waltz into their office with the DD of 15 lakhs.
All it means is that everything is hearsay until verified. It could very well be that some posts are just intended to whittle down competition.

Meanwhile, if anybody unearths information regarding Blue Star, do share.

Without second looks, I'd consider paying them 15 lakhs, had it been Blue Star Airconditioners' Charters!

Got a call from the Blue Star eye-candy lady today. She said they're sending trainees to CAE for some special program that would take 8-9 months. (Anyone know any CAE insider, who could validate this claim)

She: Sir, we wanted to confirm whether you are joining the program.

Me: Is it possible to delay payment, say until just before training begins - no loss for you, clearer picture for me.

She: No sir, company policy.

Me: How about taking the payment in installments? Again, no loss for you, manageable financial burden for me.

She: No sir, company policy.

Didn't feel the need to carry the conversation further.

First fake pilot, then fake DGCA officials , then fake flying club , now- probably what seems like a fake airline.

........And Im still having this rush of optimism.Maybe they don't want REAL money at all.Maybe they are just looking to play some monopoly (on the table)

They're alleging that 10 persons have signed up for the pilot program.
Anybody from this forum among those 10?
If yes, please share with us the basis for your faith in them.

Please backread.

How can they be connected to a non-existing airline like oceanic airline?

On that basis alone proves this is a scam!

To everyone who attended the interview at Hilton

Hey I see a lotta you guys attended the written exam at the Hilton. But did any of you guys actually ask them which airlines or which aircraft they plan to get you to fly???
And asking for 15lakhs in form of D.D is highly curious... Never heard of it.. Airlines generally take post dated checks and a bonded contract..
I suggest the guy with the friend in NDTV actually set up a sting operation for these guys.. I'm sure NDTV will get tons of publicity with all the Fake pilot scams going on...

Hey everyone!

I'd applied for their engineers' position and I've received an email from them asking me to sit for their written examination on the 21st in Bangalore. How did it work out for guys/gals that had appeared for the pilot's exam? I've been following the thread so I know the situation, just wanted to know if you've any updates.

I'd like to go sit for the test and speak to them for myself but since that entails investment of time and money in travelling from DEL to BLR... I'm not sure that that is such a good idea.
