firstly u need to get your medical renewed. very important, otherwise u r not eligible for any of the recruitments. Since your medical has expired for more than 1 year, u have to take a NOC from DGCA Medical department before doing your medical. Go in the DGCA website, and search for NOc procedure there in the medical section. If u can't get the procedure, or u can't understand it, call DGCA office, medical deprtment and ask them.
Don't worry if u don't have your IR renewed, because people r eligible for exams with lapsed IR.
