Not too sure about the PAF's fleet . . . but how about OMNI Aviation? Unless by Clark Aviation you are referring to them. Or was it CIA?

If you'd want to see remarkable curriculum, ever considered Aeronavigation Academy International (AAI) based in Silay-Bacolod Airport? Their ground studies is more extensive as they utilize the JAA style syllabus. A lil more pricey but worth it. Check it out~

Interesting list nonetheless.

?????????????

1. Rating of schools is best done by a reputable and impartial institution. A web search did not show any other source of this list, only this thread. Where did this list come from?

2. Time span covered 2010-2011. Don't you think it should only cover year 2010? ... 2011 has barely started. Flying schools don't have calendar school years.

3. The last quality criteria cites CAAP accreditation. PAFFS, by its nature cannot be accredited by the CAAP.

Mixing civilian and military schools in a quality survey list doesn't look like a good idea - objectives, environment and other parameters are different.

?????????????

1. I stand corrected - PAFFS has a "school year" ... but again it's out of place in the list.

2. "-AIRWORTHY AND WELL MAINTAINED AIRCRAFTS"
From Tian Yu: "Not too sure about the PAF's fleet ."

From what my ex-PAF friends (recent graduates) tell me, I don't think PAFFS fully qualifies in this aspect either,

3. -CAAP ACCREDITED
CAAP, to begin with, has to improve its credibility

Should do a catch up on the TOP 5 most corrupt also so that the common man does not invest their time and hard earned money in the hands on the shame of the aviation industry in phils!!!! i hate to say this being an outsider but these schools are really shallow and the people running then are money minded and does not uphold any values in aviation.

jetcruiser: 2010-2011 TOP 5 Quality Flying Schools in the Philippines - is this based on statistical survey ?

Hmm ... long silence ... this seems to be just someone's personal opinion

Harilal: Should do a catch up on the TOP 5 most corrupt

With due respect Sir, "BOTTOM 5" sounds better.. and you are correct, this kind of list will be more useful to many

TOP 5???

... very long silence ...

The intent was good but this thread is someone's personal opinion.

Info on schools that may deserve the bottom of the list will be useful ... may be debatable but best to caution future students.

TOP 5 Most corrupt!!!!

rq4globalhawk : Bottom 5 seems to be another way of putting it across, but again that is toning down on what goes down in those schools, and it is highly alarming to see that nobody has responded!!!.

I m posting a list of the schools in philippines, Rank em, list em and review em, that would make the silence on this thread go away!!!.

PS : All these are personal opinions

Aviatour is one of the best.. the finest school in Philippines..huge fleet!
heard a lot about AAI, bacolod.
Omni is a very nice school as well.they offer quality training.

currently I am employed with Fly Fast Inc. Very professional. Just love this place. It's a small company though, but is very well managed. Everybody is so professional.

AAA in Iba is also a nice one.

Aspiring

I am planning to attend a flying school in philippines in 2 months time, I am considering avatour, Clark n airlink, which of these do u suggest I attend, I often hear they trick students to start billing them more than the tuition they paid, how can I be sure the tuition is all I will pay n no hidden charges here n there. Thanks

Ditto on Taras B comments about Alpha Aviation Group (formerly Clark Aviation) Yakota has well maintained aircraft but their training program is questionable.

flying school

hi guys. new here, I'm a graduating student, taking up BS aeronautical engineering, after the board exam on november2013, I'm planning to start a flying course. I already read some information about flying schools, some problems and rumors about flying schools here in Philippines. i just wanna get an expert opinion about choosing the best school to spend my time and money. one of my friends suggested me All Asia Aviation Academy at IBA zambales, I've never been there but i visited their website and I'm interested to know if that school is trusted? according to them, the training was short but effective. is it true? Any suggestions will do. Thanks.
