SLOT system implemented at VABB & VIDP

Hi

can anyone provide me with the link for the AIC pertaining to this new procedure.

It seems only the newspapers can tell me about this

Are u talking about the Standard lateral offset procedure ?? (SLOP)

If yes.. then it has been inplace for quiet some time now..

this should be interesting

So now the late last straglers (self loading cargo) will cause the whole planeload of people to get really delayed.
Wonder if it will bring about a change in the mindset of some people in India about not being bothered about wasting other peoples time.

Understanding the slot system

So, with the new slot system, the earliest we could call Delivery is 45 mins prior to scheduled departure time, and the latest is 15 mins prior to scheduled departure time, and that we would need to begin taxiing during the slot times. Correct?

Also, like VABB, does VIDP also have a NOTAM on when Non-Scheduled Operators can't take-off/land?

It's been working pretty well for us - delays are minimal - we're pretty happy with it

there's no t/o & ldg time limitations for non-sked flights in VIDP.
