Question Tianjin Airlines question

Anyone have info about the Embraer 190 schedule (day trips, duty days etc.?). I only see wasinc doing this contract still. Are there any other contract companies working with them?

feel free to pm...

Roster seems to be crap. No commute, work 5 days on 2 days off. 30 days annual vacation. WASIC, at present are the only agency involved with recruitment.

Think they have interviews sked for this month.

A commute roster would make the gig more interesting.

They should offer a commuting contract in the near future... As they are owned by the HNA Group, and all the other HNA Airlines offer comm contracts... My .02 cents...

All of the HNA airlines? Don't know how true that is. HNA are well known for their dirty tricks!!

The truth is, that the contract is crap, and WASINC better wise up. No commute and no housing on 10k/mth=crap!

Give me ONE airline in China, or Asia that has not burned someone or many, at some point in time in the past? They ALL have... The difference is made by the agency, and on how bad the airline wants to retain it's pilots... Basic!!!

And the contract has been crap since the first time I saw it last summer... Much improvement needed. WAS Inc, a whole different story! Saludos en la Capitai!

I am interested as well. Does anyone know who the other company is doing contracts? Does anyone know what kind of experience the lastest hires have had?

Rotation examples?

Three guys from my regional airline just went over to interview which is basically a medical, written, and sim. All three failed some part of it. I'm trying to find out the reasons; when I do I will post back. These are sharp guys too and they were all sent home.

Riddle18... my contact tells me its all day trips, 3 to 5 per week. Home every night. Long days. Flying 85-95 hours. They treat him well, and he's having a great time.

Yep HNA = dirty lying lowlife s, but as someone else pointed out, that could apply to anyone in China.
If you have to live in Tianjin, make sure you factor in the cost of a pair of new lungs, the pollution there has to be seen to be believed

Until they up the money, offer housing and introduce a commute roster the job aint worth it. Be careful with HNA airlines and it's sub's.

Yes!!.. listen to Trijet...
10 G may be good compared to the US rates (exception of jetb) but when other countries can offer 13-14G with commutable rosters and accommodations they (wasinc) can offer better rates.

I for one am willing to make a move to china if the rates are much much better. I would rather have better rates and QOL (i'll find my own accommodations-i've lived 3rd world before).

sulkair...
your contact says 3-5 day trips? how long are the duty days? 14-15 hours?
I have a family to bring and am wondering if QOL is worth the move, obviously pay is not...yet..

thanks for the replies boys...

Kanin, you will be poisoning your family, just google " pollution in China " , and remember, if one of your family loses their health, it'll be too late.

Other than parts of Shanghai and Beijing, it would be lucky to meet 3rd world standards. ( and yes, we regularly overnight in other cities in China )

cancelation of flights eh, surprise surprise! How sad these people are. Will they ever learn? If they just offered a decent contract Tianjin would have all the pilots they require.

wasinc = joke

wasinc is a joke. they should not be trusted further than you can throw them.

there are others hiring for this gig as with most gigs in china they have several agencies working at the same time.

pick carefully before you get locked in with somebody who treats you like dirt.
