Not that bad here.

First be careful which Agent you choose!
In my opinion only one does a good job.
The Roadshow was maybe a Resume' gathering project?
What experience do you have and what Fleet did you apply for?
It such a long road to getting to the Assessment you may never even get invited if the experience and Checks to do match.

My understanding is that HNA will be doing their own hiring, w/o an Agency. At least for pilots from the US, as that's what I was told... I will submit all the paperwork with the CP and see were that goes. Make sure that u have no rest in your Type, at least a 4 year deg from acc university, and all the FBI/Police records notarized by the CN embassy, etc.

I am with a Sub of HNA group, so this might not apply to you, but QOL and everything else is EXCELLENT for us!!! Keep on doing research and you might find a few HNA pilots as I know that they have several foreign p's... And they should be hiring more that 50 or so.

Hello JotaJota.

I believe I know which branch you are flying for, I might even have crossed you in the office once !
Do you know if by any chance they are hiring F/Os at this time? Thanks

Julien

No FO's at all, well no foreign FO's that is, but plenty of CN ones.. They were contemplating that option but nope. Between the CAAC and other hurdles it was discarded...

We tried as we know many WELL qualified FO's that would love to come here... Oh well.

China Recruitment

Hi guys,
I checked the website for Hainan and they are not hiring.
I have submitted applications for China and would like to know anything abt China and airlines there? Do airlines in China only hire from agents and which agent to choose? I am being advised to be careful which agent to choose. Does anyone have any idea. Would like to know more from anyone who is in the process?
I have heard of Parc being good. Are there any other agents who are also recruiting?

climbto350.com is a great place to start... Well worth the paid sub. Rishworth, Direct Personnel, and PARC among other are OK!

Climb, no clue on Global Pilot Serv... I have never heard of them.

HNA and it's subs pay more that the top 3 CN airlines... I would compare contracts but also look into pairings, QOL, bonuses, etc... Some of my friends at other airlines here in CN get pay similar, but they do 4 on 2 off, as we do an avg of 13-14 duty days per month, as our trips are EXTREMELY effective... Also as the bases are different, the cost of living could make a huge difference. So many factors to take into consideration.

Gather all the info you can before making the decision...

Grrr Definitely, HNA is not a thrustful company.

Guys,
I had a very bad experience when working for HNA. If you are unemployed and are a kind of top gun captain, just apply for screening, but be prepare to pay for all expense done. If, for a luck, you get successful in the process, be aware to have your money back. They use to spend about 06 month to refund your expenses. After all, be kindly and act like a dog, because some one will try to abuse you, since the beginning. Good luck!!

Anybody Recruiting?

Vietnam recruiter just replied saying they have paused on the hiring. Is that true? Is Vietnam slowing down? I know pilots in Asia are not quite happy with the way they deal with things back there.
