Try the pirep dot org forum. There is plenty of information about JEX.
I heard they have just appointed one of the senior gaijin capt. as Chief Pilot to conduct the interviews. He is a very nice chap for what i heard.

Happy and proud to say, I was that CP. 🤗
it it was a great honour to be asked, by JAL Management, if I would take this position on, and I accepted.
This was the first time JAL appointed a foreigner to this position, which had to be approved by the JCAB.
Unfortunately, about a year, or so later, JAL declared bankruptcy (similar to America’s Chapter 11), and, understandably, non-Japanese pilot’s were the first to go.
