I know/knew of heli ops serving offshore oil rigs, usually operating out of Juhu (VAJJ). Met some heli pilots frequenting the bar at the Sun & Sand Hotel at Juhu Beach, Bombay, some time back. Sorry, can't help you more.

Pawan Hans operates their Helicopter Services for ONGC and others from the Juhu Aerodrome in Mumbai. They are currently in need of pilots for MI 172 helicopters. You can also google for charter services in India. I think theres Deccan Air based in Bangalore.
The Pawan Hans site is http://164.100.52.177/index2.asp?sublinkid=75&slid=239
Good Luck!!!

Helicopter Jobs in India
Hello friend,
The aviation in India has got into flat spin. Helicopter fleet is worse, specially those Cos which have 1-2 helicopters only. They are bleeding paying Airport, parking, forced ground handlers, DGCA, etc charges and bribes and delays due bureucratic function. So as a result helicopters are being sold out of India.
There is a silver lining, though,as few helicopters are being bought as well. Some vacancies are there in pipeline as well.
Keep up your effort and success may follow.

The helicopter jobs are super super dominated by the EX Army/Airforce guys. The network is solid & Defense back ground connections help all the way.
There is none to very slim chance of any civilian without army background may even get a breakthrough or last there
Think again befroe you jump..........
