oppression

there are no tyrants, if there are no slaves!

if you think you are being oppressed, why don"t you fight or leave? you are free to do that, aren"t you? if you are in labor (not pregnant), know that there is such a thing as unionism? if you don't want it because LYG said he doesn't want it, then you deserve what you get - a slave.

stop whimpering or whining. do something, muttley!!

expats capt are $8.5 to $9.0 with Hotec @85 hrs. %70 pay during training.
FO's $4.0 plus the same as Capt

Plus you get some Orange shirts!

First day is drink the "kool-aid" meeting with management, then Eval at Clark, then expect about 4 weeks to get PH license and go on full pay.

Stay at Tavelers Hotel on Roxas Blvd and listen to Maria in the band during evenings.....she's hot for a 38 year old. Hey mate, how could you pass it up?

A320 jobs

I have checked their website, but nothing.
How do you apply, is it through an agency - or can you go direct.
Cheers

seniority

5J has a seniority system in place which management respects (most of the time at least). Whenever the need arises, FOs are upgraded according to seniority provided the FO is qualified. An evaluation process (which varies according to the Chief Pilot Training's whims) is conducted then the upgrade candidates are selected based on the results.

The shortest term on record prior to upgrade would be around a little less than a year from right seat to left. At present, there are a few senior 4 year FOs who have yet to be upgraded. Most of the senior FOs due for upgrade have been with the company for about 3 years.

roster and FO pay

Expect to fly 90 hours a month except during the months of your ground and sim recurrencies and license renewal when you would be flying 70 hours. Typical week would be 5 days flying and 1 day off followed by 1 day home reserve then 5 days flying.

Local hire Airbus FOs expect +/- Php120k-140k take home per month depending on your seniority (merit increase system).

St.EX

that's why they are always quick turnaround, never leave their planes at the outport.

90 hrs a month isnt bad at all, people can earn their experience as quick as possible, may move on to different airlines in the nearest future.

how about length of the contract for local hired?
