Kingfisher life in India

Hi there are there any expatriate pilots flying for Kingfisher Airlines that would enlighten we to a few of the following questions.
1. Once you arrive in India how long until you are permanently established in a
base?
2. Are there and problem with your salary being paid into your bank account on
time?
3. Are there any differences to the way you are treated by KF if you are
employed by an agency or KF direct?
4. Apart from the rostering issue are there any other major issues at KF?
All of the above is for the A320. Any information would be much appreciated.

For all you widebody guys who want a shot at the 380, get your seat at KF soon while the getting is good. Etihad will be cancelling their 380 orders and you'll wait for years to get on it at Emirates

Talking Kingfisher cabin Team

I hear the flight attendants are like models, is that true? It would be nice to fly with eye candy.

Kingfisher FA's

I guess it must be true. I have read about the "flying models" and started a new thread about it to check the data. I just saw the swimsuit gallery, it's a killer.

NOTE: Please respond to new thread I started under South east Asia and the Far East Thanks.

Some of the KFA F/A are beautiful. More than half of them are nothing to write home about. They were picked because they have "fair" skin - not because they were beautiful. In India, to be "fair" is considered beautiful, no matter how thick the beer goggles are. One of those beautiful KFA girls belongs to me, so keep your hands off her. Plus Mallya has a hands off policy for the pilots. He personally hand picks are the girls that are hired. Sometimes I question his taste. Several of those girls have scared me out of my wits. Please don't pick an airline to work for because you think you can get lucky.

'Hands off ' Policy

What is meant by ' hands off'? Pilots and flight attendants are not allowed to 'date' ? How is that possible?

KF Models

I would never want to fly for a carrier just for the back end. However, if I have to spend many days on the road, I would rather be with flowers than thorns..haha

Ohh you lucky dog! You`ve managed to break the rule book and get your own comfort in spite of the Maharajah`s off the spicy dish policy. And good try in telling everyone they are nothin but "fair" skinned maidens. Sorry dog, we are a hungry bunch of wolfs and it`s fair game, you dig!!!

Cool

But the question remains are they "bubblicious & Bootylicious"?

Ok back to the original question?

How's the QOL? Pay? Contract; Yes or NO? and etc. etc.

Hey SKYMILES, you cabin crew ?
Since you've told us cabin crew are off limits to the flight deck crew, I notice one of them " belong " to you.
All is fair game Mr Miles.

hands off

RichGPilot

means that no f/o will take off or land
unless they have 500 on type
it is now DGCA mandatory
it also depends on the hours of the captain
some come never flying for example the ATR72-500
just ATR42-320, & the landing in this case is very different
& even some companies require that noth should be released
in a way if the f/o has 750 hours , but the capt. has not been
signed off to give the f/o's the landings or t/o's
he or she cannot do it

personally do not agree with this
had a huge argument with the chief pilot & another indian cap about this
i hope no capt gets a heart attack................'cause then what?
new f/o with 433 hours but NOT a SINGLE landing~!!!!!!
damn..........how will they learn
but then again..............we could be talking bout this for hours end
it my opinion...........
INcredible INDIAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Whilst Vijay Mallya might have been so far considered a marketing wonderboy, he sure hasn't got the right grip on cross-marketing of his airline that just happens to feature the very same name and logo as found on numerous beer bottles in India. Ask for a Kingfisher (lager) aboard any IT flight and you'll get a look as if you'd just arrived from Mars.

Further explanation needed - What exactly do you mean by your statement?

On the contrary BP

It's just that Indian regs don't allow any booze on domestic flights....as yet.

Not a marketing blunder by KF. (If thats what the previous poster was implying?)

Off for a cold one!!
