The personal tax in China is 45% for Capt payslip; and 35% for FO payslip. That is something to think about.

and 60,000 rmb is garbage pay. A B738 Capt in HKD at a low cost makes 69,000 HKD which is like 74K RMB.

Forget Great Wall Airlines

All wanting to join get out while you can!!!!!!!!

the singaporean newspaper "WEEKEND TODAY" of 19th Aug page 17 states in the corporate brief the following

quote
"Singapore Airlines said it's cargo venture in China would suspend operations. Great Wall Airlines will halt operations immediately after the US Treasury imposed santions on the chinese carrier's parent China Great Wall Industry Corp.SIA owns 25per cent of Great Wall Airlines." unquote BLOOMBERG

What a start!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Missile mission?

According to a source I have;

Air Great Wall has suspended operations.

A 747-400F was intercepted carrying missiles between China & Iran. They were captured by the satellite Keyhole.

The "shipments" were transfered between Teheran and Damascus via Turkey (to create confusion) for use in the war in Lebanon.
