Hi guys, I have been working for two years in a dramatic environment, better looking other companies like spring air

Very strict. Lotsa exams. If you miss the online study, you get fines. A whole list of penalties at work. I do not know if it is good or bad. The licensing and training are fast compare to other chinese company. Sim check, are all random. Don't expect check and training will go according to the training notes. It's up to the examiner to make LMC. Last check, was asked a random questions. If you don't know just say don't know. Had a 90 knots w/s on take off. TCAS RA automatic function didn't work revert to manual. Left engine bleed leak during climb and engine 2 flame out, relight successful. followed by R engine bleed 2 leak. Emergency decent. Followed by Dual FWC fault and EEC. They were checking on procedures, decision making and flying skill in a unrealistic situation.

Compare to other companies (during this pandemic), it is definitely the best paid for now.

hijack Can't seem to PM you for some reason. Would you be able to share what the roster is like typically in Loong Air? (Days off/Overnights etc). What is flying there like as an expat?

Hello.... during ground training to the end of line training, you will not be on the commuting roster. when online, depending on your commuting roster, you be expected to fly 4 to 6 days of layovers than a 2 days off in hangzhou.

Becareful in china when you sign a contract with the agency and a trii party agreement along with the Airlines. If you do not sign a chinese labour contract, chances are you are not protected under the law. Even if you did, the company may treat foreigners without giving pension funds, medical coverage etc. PM for more info.

First of all, many thanks for those pieces of info you kindly shared.
A couple of extra questions if you don't mind:
- What is a normal duty day like, if any ?
- What is the std for the hotels?
- If performing a 4/4 (MO/MO), can we perform a few extra days (ideally for me would be a 4/3...)?
- Easy to commute ?
- Until what time would Loong air let you work for them (I'm 56, so would that be 2 contracts of 3 years, or 3..?)
