Hong Kong Express

Hi, I am low hours type rated on 737 based in Europe. I have application in with Cathay for the freighter 747 but am also interested in Hong Kong Express. Would it help if I pay for an Airbus 320 rating? Is anyone else out there looking at doing this and needing a sim buddy?

And now with this pandemic going on I bet there's a lot more Airbus type rated pilot out there who will be more likely to be called compared to you.
