Can one be a commerical pilot within basic qualification.

As the title says, can one be hired by a commerical airlines as a first officer with the basic qualificats i.e type rating on the required aircraft plus flying time of two hundred hours which is required as per DGCA rules and most of us ( aspiring pilots will ever earn unless hired).

If not, please comment and just give it a discussion. I know how keen, aspring pilots are for the answer to this question.

In short, what does it takes to get hired against thousands of pilot who are un-employed and competing for the same position, is there any money influence? I've heard quite a few times that it is!

Comment!

Can you get hired? Yes. It'll take work. Lots and lots of blood, sweat and tears, but it'll work out. I'm not type-rated. After my CPL, I waited for more than a year. In the meantime, I worked on my own knowledge, I taught CPL and ATPL students, and it eventually paid off. I made it to an airline.

There are several unemployed pilots, that fact remains. If you want to be hired, you just have to be among the best in that lot.
