OHH..and a very happy diwali to everyone :)

Maverick2167 26th Oct 2011 09:48

Butterfly747 hi... the acknowledgement letter you referred is it the one from ADAPT which contains the candidates handbook for the CASS, cause the only mail i had received so far after making the payment is from ADAPT.

ButterFly747 26th Oct 2011 09:56

i also received an email from sandra saying she got my details..and then i got adapt manual..username log in and psw.

BUT I assume receiving the adapt manual is in itself an aknowledgement to your payment otherwise they wouldn't have sent the manual to you..:)

nishantgupta2009 26th Oct 2011 11:00

Regarding questionnaire

has anyone completed the questionnaire today.

Fox_Bat 26th Oct 2011 11:56

Getting the manual is not the acknowledgement .. I haven't made the payment yet and I have got the adapt manual.
And wish you all a very Happy Diwali .. :) ..

AviatorVette 26th Oct 2011 14:31

I just got an acknowledgement letter of the payment from sandra, no adapt manual and no questionnaire with username & pw. Printed the adapt manual from a friend.

Same case. The only letters I've received after making the payment are from ADAPT.
But I did recieve my Username & Password. Has somebody who hasnt paid yet received the username & password too?

Congrats to all the people who have cleated their writtens in this attempt. Could you all please tell , how many questions actually came from the question bank which sonsal and adityaslg had posted

SaabCapt 27th Oct 2011 07:04

Any update of the CASS results, Sept. batch ?

hinitin123 27th Oct 2011 08:22

Do not simply rely on the Q. bank. It should be a part of your practice only when your done with all the subjects with the theory part.
ppl who r simply relying on the Q. bank only will not pass " Including me".

I made the same mistake.

alonelyaviator 27th Oct 2011 10:55

@wing of fire
around 10 questions.....
Tips for exam
1 study human performance in depth
2 study principal of flight ,cg, stablity, general aircraft performance etc.
3 nav(all three sections)- simple dgca stuff no oxford required accor to me.
4 do numerical only, those covered in question bank just basic ones.
5 clear your concept for met.....simple.
6 reg.....vfr ifr minima, comm. failure, markings, light signal, conventions(chicago, warsaw, paris, tokyo), freedoms of air....more then enough, semi circular system etc.
7 except this,all u can do to score +90.
Best of luck
ala.

alonelyaviator 3rd Nov 2011 12:22

If you really want to know the dates of next assessment.

DJ Flyboy 8th Nov 2011 11:03

Is the GD on the same day as CASS?

AviatorVette 8th Nov 2011 12:19

there is no GD, just a structured interview.

DJ Flyboy 8th Nov 2011 12:42

So when is the GD..

guitarboy 8th Nov 2011 15:55

To All the people who have completed their A320 Type Rating in CAE, Madrid though the CAE Indigo Recruitment.

Q1. What was your total cost that you incurred other than the Type Rating cost. aka Accommodation, Food, Air Travel etc.

A General / Specific idea would be great.

Q2. Is the accommodation in a hotel? Shared room?
Q3. How does the pickup/drop to CAE work.
Q4. How many days does the Type Rating take at max

Thanks

VT139 8th Nov 2011 16:58

Here are some of the answers that you have been looking for-:

1. The average cost of living, food, sightseeing etc is arnd 2000 euros.

2. The accommodation is in an apartment. It is your choice whether u want share it with 2 guys or 1 guy or whether u want to live alone. You will hav to pay accordingly and your expenses will also rise according to that.

3. CAE doesnt provide any pick/drop service. But most of the times, the instructors pick/drop u.But it varies with the instructor.

4. On an average,in CAE Madrid,it takes arnd 2 mnths 10 days for the whole course.

ButterFly747 8th Nov 2011 18:09

GDs and interviews are taken by indigo if you clear your CASS. gds are prior to your interview on the same day itself.

guitarboy 8th Nov 2011 20:06

Thank You VT139 :ok:

What are the base options for a Junior CoPilot?
What base options are given most frequently to a Junior CoPilot? (CCU? MAA?)
Usually its the company's prerogative. Could range anywhere between PNQ, JAI, CCU, MAA - which are the most frequently allotted ones.

How long until one could Request a Base?
One Year completion On-line.
