Uniform. 11th May 2011 05:42

as mentioned in CAR SERIES B PART IV
Aircraft General Knowledge includes

a) principles of operation and functioning of aeroplane power plants, systems
and instruments;
b) operating limitations of appropriate aeroplanes and power plants; relevant
operational information from the flight manual or other appropriate
document;
c) use and serviceability checks of equipment and systems of appropriate
aeroplanes;
d) maintenance procedures for airframes, systems and power plants of
appropriate aeroplanes

so does tht mean upcoming attempts will include questions on the power plant and systems, like the Jet Airways test??? :rolleyes:

Can't say anything as of now. They may change their exam procedure to DGCA level also.
So that more students can clear the exam and go for the next round.
But overall it is a very good step as the first round is Free.
Its only after this exam one can get an idea how much has changed!!

For all those who've appeared for the 6E exam,

1. Is there negative marking? What is the pass percentage?

2. Has anyone come across questions pertaining to Compass Swinging in the exam?

3. According to JAR standards, Aircraft's are classified into Class A, B and C, depending on the performance, seating capacity/MTOW. Has anyone come across questions specific to the above mentioned 3 classes or just general performance?
