|
Google ICAO and its docs. Read them thoroughly. Also do a little research on human factors. Check out this website for the same.
pilot resources aviation resources aviation weather flight training for general aviation Get yourself a question bank from one of the reputed tutors out there, it helps in revision. Don't forget tokyo convention, warsaw convention, freedom of air and the articles listed within. Try the online question bank that cyril roy suggested in this thread as well. In the end tally all that you know with the syllabus on the DGCA website. Best of luck:ok: |

For DGCA meteorology and regulations? What are the current best source of self study books.
- thanks.:8 |
Hi,
I did refer I C Joshi for Meteorology and Bali for Regulations only. These were the only books referred for exams and i was lucky enough to clear both the exams in first attempt. Cheers |
Composite paper help
hey there
just a quick question, a friend of mine suggested using the oxford books as a basis for passing the composite paper, he said he passed just using those, i get that having multiple sources could be good, but id rather not flood myself with junk info while studying for these exams. DGCA looks notoriously hard to navigate around (excuse the pun). So currently since this thread is quite old, what would be the best approach to tackling the composite paper? Thanks |
Study Oxford and Keith. There is nothing JUNK in such books. Please quit this such a way of approaching towards an exam :=. Knowledge always helps. However go through the syllabus for Dgca Cpl and read all the topics/Questions from Oxford and Keith.
http://dgca.nic.in/cars/D7B-B4.pdf Study IC Joshi for Met. Try to do the questions from Oxford as well for met. Professionals don't go for shortcuts. |
Haha sorry, yea reading that back again did sound a bit rude, Thanks for help. Professionals don't go for shortcuts, but there is such a thing as a smart approach to tackling an exam rather than hounding over several books that wont address the syllabus?

Right now I'm working. I cannot leave the job or take a long leave of 12 or 15 months. So I have to do ground training on my own. Can anyone suggest the process, right from books to refer to apply for DGCA? Thanks in Advance.
