Cathay Cadet American Applicants

Hi, this is my first post on the site although Ive been reading and gathering information for a little while now. My question is for any Americans who have applied for the Cathay Cadet Program. Has anybody heard anything back? I applied a few weeks ago and am just waiting. Just curious if any other Americans have tried their luck. Thanks

Dsims 19th Jul 2009 21:53

dabssa 19th Jul 2009 22:53

Hm, if you are a crj fo, how do you qualify for a cadet position? Why dont you just apply for deso or defo?

Zoom6 20th Jul 2009 13:24

SAS-A321

i dun know how long i am gonna wait for a call?

my prefered destiantion is Hong kong

what about u?

Customx 17th Aug 2009 23:05

I'm American but I live in South Korea. I applied on July 17th and put Hong Kong as my preferred location to interview. Still waiting....

inHKasDK 30th Aug 2009 14:04

I'm a US Citizen that is applying for the HK CX CPP.

This is round two- I feel I should share 'some' of the experience I had last year during this waiting time.

I applied in late July of last year and didn't hear anything back until mid September, and was invited to October interviews. So don't worry to hard guys, its just a few more weeks of waiting (assuming they still work the same way this year).

As for being American, from what I can tell this year will be more open to international applicants than ever before. Keep your mind sharp and dreams alive!
:ok:

Secondary Test Results on Application?

Hi guys, I just started my application to the Cadet Pilot Program, so I probably missed this last application cycle...

But anyways, I was just wondering, for those of you who are applying out of the United States, what did you guys put in the "Secondary Test Results" field in the "Education" section? It looks like they're asking for exam results or something, so I listed my SAT I, SAT II, and Advanced Placement test scores. Those are the closest equivalents I can think of to the HK/UK style examples they provided (they all seem to be college/university entrance qualification exams).

If you guys could help shed some light on this, I'd greatly appreciate it. Best of luck to you all! :ok:

tu144 5th Sep 2009 20:46

I am applying now you think its too late for this year?

kr575m 2nd Oct 2009 22:30

This is very frustrating. So, I'm assuming no applicants in N. America got a reply recently from CX for the Cadet Program? My 60 days recently expired and I did not receive a response. I submitted mine on July 23rd.

Does anyone have a number or link to the human resource department?

Thanks.

nicholasblonde 2nd Oct 2009 23:30

canadians--yes (see other threads)...usa--remains to be seen if anyone was invited...
