Hi I have been reading this thread constantly for the past two days.

One thing that does not seem to be covered is how much does CX care about your grades in University? They asked for my university transcript for initial B but I do not have strong grades. School was not my passion. I have good passes in high school math/science subjects but average to below average grades in University... How will this affect me?

Out of pure curiosity, what's the longest anyone has been applying before getting the chance for an Interview?

I initially applied in July 2012, and have been updating my application ever since (every now and then as I gain more useful experience as a CFI).

Also, for anyone applying through the SO Position (with at least a CPL and 250H Req), what sort of experience did you have upon being called in?

I am new to this thread. I am a permanent HK resident and currently living in the UK. Reading the first 10 pages of the thread, people were talking about applying to the London assessment centre back in 2010 but not so much in the recent posts. I just want to know if this is still applicable in London ,and if so, does it affect my chance or getting it? I would just like to see if anyone has applied to overseas assessment centre recently would like to share their experiences.

No assessment in UK. You need to get your own plane ticket to HK for all assessments.
