CX Cadet Pilot Stage 3 preparation

Dear all,

I'm preparing for the CX CPP stage 3 assessment.

Anyone would like to form study group to prepare together (in HK)? I woould like to focus on practising the flight planning exercise and group exercise.
Please PM me if you are interested.

Cheers!:ok:

Shouldnt the group exercise and flight planning exercise be done during stage 2?
Stage 3 is the management interview. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The initial test and 1st interview are considered to be stage 1. The group exercise, flight planning, personality test, job knowledge quiz, numerical test and 2nd interview are part of stage 2. Stage 3 is the management interview as mentioned above..Hope this helps

would love to get in touch and get together sometime!

Cheers

Hi there,

I currently live overseas in Australia and currently have a full time job. If I apply for the cadet program which means I have to take annual leave to goto HK for interviews, what's the time frame it takes for all 3 stages before knowing if I get accepted into their cadet program or not?

Thanks in advance

ho_k,

It took me about 6 weeks from stage 1 to stage 3 including the waiting in between. You will need to spend another 2 weeks in Parafield if you passed all 3 stages. So it takes approximately 3 months to complete everything before you know you are in.

Expensive hotel... I'm surprised Cx doesn't just let you stay in Cx City. I doubt it's that expensive to let the ones who make it past stage 2 and stay in HK during the waits to stay in Cx City. There's not that many remaining.

Was there lots of competition for the cadet pilot entry?

What are each of the 3 phases involve?

Anyone know if some interviews can be taken overseas?

After 8 weeks and if successful, do you start training in Adelaide straight away? Are you technically employed or not?

If not considered employed, for aussies in this forum, could you still get unemployment benefits while residing in Parafield for CX training?

Somewhere between 2000 to 3000 people apply each year. About 20 to 30 makes it each year.

However, do remember that applicants are not competing against each other. If you are suitable, you will get an offer. There are more slots available than there are suitable applicants.
