$14,000 HKD per month but you may qualify to claim additional assisitance up to $22,350 HKD (Stuff knows what you need to do to qualify for this). After 2 years the standard rate goes up to $18,000 HKD with extra assistance out to $44,700HKD.
As far as the schooling allowance goes it depends on the age of your children. Starting from 50% of fees for 3-4 yr olds, 75% for 5-18 for a recognised International School or 90% for ESF schools. They will also provide a $30,000HKD interest free loan to reimburse you for a when a deposit/debenture for commencing schooling is required.

The increased level of assistance is simple. Ask and you shall receive.
You take your proposed lease to Housing and they'll say Yes or No. Unless you're trying to do something dodgy you'll usually get a yes.
