If given the choice what would you do...

2nd Officer based in HK or First Officer in Oz. Can anyone comment on the differences in pay between the two considering the tax taken in OZ etc.

Have only heard rumours that OZ may be a possibility, got through first stage interview for HK. Currently employed in the middle east on wide body. Seems to be a few jobs about and if I got through the selection might just have a haggle...

Also have a wife and small family to think about. I have been to HK and while it would be OK the life I know down under has its advantages.

I assume you have right of abode in Australia? If you don't then that isn't an option for you. CX won't assist you for any work permits except HK.

It's not a problem, have the right passports!
