CX S/O to Pax fleet JF/O. possible?

I heard that DE F/O is only for cargo.

What about in case of S/O to JF/O in CX?

Can S/O upgrade to passenger fleet JF/O?

Because I don't have the right for live and work in any port other

than Hong Kong.

Of course. As an SO you have nowhere to go but JFO unless you fail the upgrade training.

not to mention with the housing allowances, SO's make substantially more than Freighter FOs

Good. Thank you guys.
I've got some worries from some threads which mentioned that cx de f/o is only for freighter... so must need citizenship of freighter port. (and I'm not... :{)
The Key is start from S/O. Thank you again.:ok:
