Greetings,

Wondering if if anyone has info about the sim eval or the process in general? Aircraft, profile, autopilot, auto thrust, flight directors? Any information would be greatly appreciated by all.

Thanks,
GK

Go on instagram and search acsaviationconsulting, the guy helps potential candidates prep for cathay pacific, since he used to be a captain with them along time ago. You'll have to pay a fee of some kind, but that vast majority get through the initial and final stages for employment. He's actually really good. A friend of mine used him and he's currently a second officer and enjoying it.

Applied in April, emailed with a follow up question or two start of June, got an offical invite 3 weeks later. Did all the usual interview admin like forms and hours etc throughout the next week or two and then interviewed September 10-11. So from application to interview was about 3 months.

Hey guys, for anyone that's received the invite email and seen this part, it does appear that further to the 250 hour requirements advertised by Cathay, 100 of those must be PIC? I do only have the the 70 PIC that comes from flight school and the rest is dual/copilot/flight test time. Someone mentioned in a previous thread that the PIC or night shortfalls are covered when you go to FTA; has anyone got any insight on this?"Part C Supporting Documents to be submitted by the Applicant

Applicant is hereby required to submit certified true copy of pages in personal flying log book showing applicant’s names and :-
Entries of flightscomprising 250 hours of flying experience;

Entries of flightscomprising 100 hours of flying experience as P1 and/or P1 U/S (including at least 70 hours as P1);

Entry of a VFR cross-country flight as P1 of at least 300 nm, in the course of which full stop landings at two aerodromes different from the aerodrome of departure were made, highlighted in colour; and

Entries of flightsincluding 5 solo take-offs and 5 solo full stop landings at night, highlighted in colour."

Hey, guys just made an account. By the look of this, I am facing uphill battle up with my 204 flight hours. I have an HK ID that is why I can apply below the 250h. I ve apply at the website at the beginning of August and got the email at mid of august for the all the docs that you guys suggested. My interview date is 22-23 of October. Any advice and any of you guys pass the interview or have the same interview date as me? They sent me the A330/A350 briefing.
