Canadian Rt to Indian RT

Hi Guys
So I hold an FAA CPL. And will be getting my Canadian CPL and RTR. I plan to convert that into DGCA CPL and WPC RTR.
Now I have been hearing mixed things about the conversion of RT.
Please correct me if I'm wrong:
1) If I convert my Rt then the validity will be only 5 years.
2) If I convert my Rt by giving Part 1, then the validity will be 20 years.

Now I have heard of another rule about having 30 hours as a requirement. Where does that come into play?

I would appreciate if someone could help me out.
Thank You

Would recommend you call them up and ask them about the 30 hours requirement as there is one wpc website that is old and one that has been updated.
