Like I said 2 of my friends got the green signal. But guys this is more of a eye wash, most of them are going to get in with influence. If you dont know, spice jet is now part of the Sun group which is a DMK political party company moreover that it is an alliance with congress party. Most of the guys that are going to get in are the ones with political influence. One my close friend's friend's father is in this party and he said that the guy is not even bothering about studying for the exams cause he knows he is going to get in. Only very few ones that worked hard and are lucky are going to get in without any influence. And another thing, the Cost for the rating will be 10 lac on the q400 and 12 lac on the B 737 but only the chosen ones are going to go into the 737.

I am still waiting for my reply.

Do the require Current IR??

In the AD its mentioned that they require a VALID IR...By far JET and Indigo didn't need a current IR...I hope its the same case with spicejet also...Current IR doesn't make any sense as far as eligibilty is concerned...bcos, anyway, you are going to renew it if you are getting typerated....

By the way - I live in Bangalore too, but i took a train/bus/metro/foot and went to every airline HQ to find out when their Interviews were. It is easy ain't it to make gestures from your computer right??

You need to master the art of 'ignoring', i've also noticed most of these Indian forums are overcrowded with kids ,let alone the childish comments and constant need of attention. For ex. Those who think that this is a genuine hiring then you are fooling yourself. Most of the one that would be selected would have influence. 2 of my friend got the letters for the up coming exam but i also know few more from the same city that applied didn't get the invitation. This is just an eyewash
