i personally do not think that it is based on any sort of plan... its random i feel... but it looks like they are calling people according to their medical dates..
My friends have informed me that everyone who had their pre employment medicals before the 4th of of december 2013 have been called....
The 8 have their ground classes in june and they leave for their type in august... ( includes all the 32 that have been called till date)

Thanks thanks allot everyone ...because of you all people .. finally i passed all the rounds of jet airways trainee first officer process ...now i am a part of jet airways .. i cant explain how happy and exited today thanks a ton..and special thanks to my mentor as well ...

At this rate, it would take 2.5 years to recruit all from 2011 and 2013 batches.I dont understand why they are hurrying up the selection process but going excrutiatingly slow when it comes to training.

Plus finding TR slot is getting difficult for Jet.

MEDICALS FOR 2013 BATCH ??
hi friends !!
any idea when 2013 students would be called for Medicals and further process..........considering 2.5 yrs as said in previous posts would be terrible..but since would be no surprise as already 1 Yr is gone till now .....

Medicals in AUG - SEPT
its very hard to wait for another 60 - 70 days......
I think they may get slots as have heard jet is trying vigorously to get slots..

2011 guys please share some info about your status , it ill give us a better view of whats going on and how long the wait will be.
Has the first batch of student who went for type rating to UK has returned back ?
And what about the other batches ?

Just to shed some light..
100 plus candidates got selected from the 2011 batch and until now only 48 of them ( 2 batches of 24 each) have been contacted by jet for training and other schedules.. 32 of these 48 have been given their schedules ( ground classes+ type rating and other formalities) ... 10 out of the remaining 16 got a email from jet last week asking them to renew the said licenses keeping in mind the proposed dates of training..
Not to be negative and looking at the rate at which they are absorbing the 2011 batch its going to be a long wait...
But anything can and might happen...
THE WAIT TO GET IN 9W WILL BE WORTH IT...
