As long as there are "pay to fly" pilots willing to pay big money to sit in a jet and earn minimum wage, there will be pilots willing to work for this company.
Reply 1: "This airline treats pilots like shyte! Worse than dogs!"
Next response on Pprune: "Okay, where can I send them a resume."

Hey I understand what you are saying, it is just that its very hard
to get a job right now with a type 737 under your belt but just lacking the hours. Asia is supposed to be booming right? Well, cant say i notice any of it fo starting pilots.
If you have any other suggestions, constructive ones please, then I would be very happy to receive them.

Hong Kong Airlines/Express Hiring!
HKA and HKE advertised on 1/21/2012 that they are hiring Capts and FO's into all fleets!
Does anyone have more info on the recruitment, selection process and how many pilots they plan on hiring?

My advice is to apply for HKA. They are a growing company and are becoming a professional airline...and about time too.
As for HKE...well, the GMF is twit with no regards to SOP's, FCOM's etc, he thinks he know's it all when in fact he doesnt. The future of HKE is uncertain despite the fact we are recruiting. Go for HKA.

I'm a current 737NG FO looking at Hong Kong Airlines. When I look at the HKA website, it seems like 737 guys are only recruited for HKE. Everyone is advising to go for HKA rather than HKE.
Does it mean I should just apply for HKA Airbus fleet without an Airbus rating? Are the 2 departments operated almost like 2 different companies?
