I actually attended initial 1a for CX 2 weeks ago, and met 2 of the 1B KA applicants. Both of them only got level 5, and still been invited to 1b interview.

Do you mean COS18 affects only CX recruits? Are there any recent changes to KA's salary package? If not, joining KA as a cadet makes so much more sense than CX.

KA is still recruiting. The next batch is going to L3 around March. The only difference is that applicants are getting more selfish and they would rather share information in private groups than publicly in pprune.

I applied for both CX and KA in October, they've merged both streams now so I had to pick my preferred airline before Stage 2.

Hey all, Just wondering:
- How long have people been waiting to hear back after applying?
- Do I need to have 500 airline hours before submitting (will have within a few weeks time)?
- Do I apply using the Cathay Dragon system, or the mainline Cathay application? (People have mentioned about them "merging streams")
