haha yeah they are nice to you when you are there...and that makes sense.
I met a guy there at the initial English / Reasoning tests and he never got the call. So he asked me if I could give him Monique's number. When he called her she was like, how did you get my number??!

Nope. Not in the invitational email, I asked him to check for it before giving the number to him. I am not sure if it's a good practice at all. When I received my phone call from Monique, she spoke to me in Cantonese...the same happened to my friends who knew little Cantonese.

I think she should maintain her professionalism as a recruiter by being consistent. They used English during the whole English and Reasoning assessments and then made the phone calls in Cantonese...yes, judging the language we speak by our last names I see...

Hi Kachan,
Wish you the very best, and hopefully we will be able to meet on the first interview.
Just completed my AT. The 3-in-1 part is the hardest part to me, have a difficult time managing the joystick and doing mental calculations. But it certainly was a fun experience.
Upon leaving, the staff told me that successful candidates to the next round will be notified within 6 weeks.
Good luck all

Hello people, i'm new to this forum! Got an initial test this Thursday the 8th! I've just finished reading all the threads from page 1 to current, very useful information.
Just a few questions to ask on the IT:
Is the level of maths at GCSE level or lower? I've seen people say it consists, plus, subtract, minus, times, tables, rations, graphs, fuel calculation, speed/time, flight route calculation.
Thanks

CPL vs. MPL
Hi,
Does anyone know the different selection process for the CPL vs. the MPL Cadet training program; is one more rigorous in the selection over the other?
Is it possible to apply to both program or are we only allow to choice one.
thank you

HI Luislsk12,
right, the 3 in 1 joystick part does really hard- -especially the number keypad not as usual as the computer one that I have to look down everytime after the color key. So did you got the call on friday just like the IT got the call 2days after? If so, I guess I need to wait until monday since the weekend.
wish you the best.

Charleston C,
I attended the IT on the 08/08/13, but haven't been invited to the AT test yet?
They must have done 2 big group of batches for the IT for 07/08 and 08/08.
