to be honest, I don't think you need any sort of practice software for cx initial tests, they are not too difficult at all.
Some of my friends did skytest, and they have got passed it.
In my opinion, you better start studying the company background, flight school background and some technical knowledge (level is directly proportional to your aviation background) in advance

Cathay Pacific Cadet Pilot Programme
For those who have read posts from 2-3 years ago. Several highlighted time to JFO and commands would increase and would take possibly 15 years. 2.5 years later. JFO courses on the airbus is now 3 years. Command courses are increasing and with the increasing airframe deliveries as well as 65 year old retirements (rumour has it that it can go to 67 at some point)
By economies of scale and time and place, those who did join then got on the right wave.

Hi Beech58, thats great news mate. May I ask when you applied ? bit of a shame they sprung it up on you. Thats why I have already started preparing in the hope I may get an interview soon.
As for the reasoning test, I believe its based on the Ravens advanced matrices. If you google this you'll get an idea of what its about.
Cheers and good luck! keep us posted!

Just wondering if anyone can pass on some recommendations for hiring out a Sim for the Assessment in HKG?
Also anyone who has recently been through the interview process in HKG, any feedback, suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Has anyone done the 1a/1b AA test recently?
I am studying the maths/physics questions on latest pilots but I am not sure how much to study in terms of question difficulty.
I have heard from some that the questions are similar to easy mode on latest pilots. Any input would be appreciated!

Stage 1A (Ab-initio) on 1st April
Hi everyone,
I have lurked here since my application to Cathay in August 2013 and have only just been called for interview / stage 1A / 1B. To be honest I forgot about my application and filed it under the "what could have been" folder in my mind.
However, recent existing job etc has caused me to re-evaluate some of my choices and as it happens, CX recruitment call has come at quite an opportune time.
I am in HK now studying and generally swotting up what I can practically do in between now and the interview.
Any last minute tips just to settle my nerves?
Kind regards everyone.
