Hello!
I am from Germany and would like to apply for the Cadet Pilot Programme of Cathay Pacific. Is it possible to apply for the programme with the following eyesight values:
Sph. Cyl. Ax.
+2,25 -2,25 15 degrees
+4,25 -4,0 178 degrees
Hence, both of my astigmatism values exceed 2,0 dioptres. Would be grateful for any help!

Hi few
Thanks for your information.
I did all series of test at Poly Vision yesterday.
I have strong protan (red color) defect, no matter by Ishihara, and two types of D-15 test.
No hope to be a pilot or ATC.
That's what decided in my DNA and no way to change it.
So, let it be...
Hope you all every success in flying!

wow sammyduke that's quite serious astigmatism
I have that too (not that serious, around 2.0) .... I was also worried.
I heard that if you can be corrected to 20/20 then it's ok?
I'm having my 1B on 19/9 anyone with me?
