In regards with the medical, if you are an early bird and you start by 8am you can finish it by lunch and if the PAL medical clinic is not loaded with examinee. Other portion of the medical is to be done in makati med and cardinal santos in greenhills by the way, the exam in cardinal is by reservation so probably you may consume more than a day to complete the whole medical process

Updates? Rankings?

Updates anyone?

Have you guys all finished your final medicals (incl EEG, Stress Test and all)?

Anyone know when the rankings come out?

In the orientation back in October, they said the first batch would start end of January-early Feb...

Rankings?

I called the Av School office recently and they told me that the rankings will be out in a couple of weeks, maybe 2 or 3.

Just wanna ask if PAL Aviation School would get a total of 24 cadets from the batch which took their qualifying tests from Nov 2008 to Feb 2009 or just 12

Any updates?

Hey guys,

Do anyone of you have any news or updates regarding the ranking? And FYI guys, Mr. Narmon had informed me during my initial interview that they will be taking 36 students now. So there will be three sets of pilot trainee classes now.

3 classes?

The results are not even out yet and they said in the orientation 4 months ago that classes were supposed to start in January.

If there will really be 3 classes and if the first class starts anytime this year, then the second class will start in 2010 and the third class will start in 2011.

This is even an optimistic estimation since the last batch took 2 years to finish right?

If I remember correctly, they mentioned in the orientation that the first class is to start end of January and the second class will start sometime June or July also this year.

Obviously, the January start has been scrapped. Assuming the rankings come out this month, the first class can probably start in April. There should still be enough time for the second class to begin within the year as well.

Validity of tests

If the second class starts later than Nov or Dec then wouldn't some of the tests that the applicants have taken already have expired? I remember that the tests have certain validity periods right? ranging from 6 months to 1 year. Is that the way it works?
