This is urgent and any feedback is greatly appreciated
SIA lists not more 200 astigmatism on each eye on their website
I am sitting nice and pretty on the border at 200 and 225. My question is how strict or lenient are their requirements (from previous experience). Really, any feedback is appreciated.

Hello! I think you can try to apply now since the whole hiring process may take some time. if they were to ask you if you would give up your degree for flying, i can't give you an answer to that but what i can recommend is to tell them the truth from the bottom of your heart. just be genuine because they are very good interviewers, they know when you're lying just to make them like you.

I'm not sure how long this SIA cadet window will be open for. If you love your degree then I'd say complete that. Or why not just apply and go through the process and postpone your decision at the latest opportunity.

So I applied a few days ago and when I logged into my SIA career profile this morning it says status: closed. Didn't receive any email from them. So they did see my application and I am already unsuccessful. International applicant here. I have a really good CV with loads of Aviation experience in ground operations from 2 of the biggest international Airlines so its not that. Also have the correct academic requirements. Guess us International candidates wont ever get into a cadet pilot program anywhere. Do you guys know of any Cadet Pilot program that takes international applications?

Hello fellow aviation enthusiasts,
May I ask, how stringent are SIA & CAAS with regard to the eye requirements? Has anyone whose eye power slightly exceeded 600 been called up for an interview and passed it? I might be a borderline 600 and I'm concerned.
