I heard a rumour that international applicants are never called up for the interview. If the rumour is true, does that mean a Singaporean citizen residing outside of Singapore won't be called up or does that only apply to persons who aren't of Singaporean nationality?

I have got a bad news, well it sounds unhappy for me.
Got informed by an A380 Captain Line Instructor Pilot in SIA that for ab-initio cadet pilot no international applicant will be considered. The specific country shall be mentioned in brackets for example Ab Initio Cadet Pilot (Singapore) and Ab Initio Cadet Pilot (Malaysia). They only consider citizens and PR's.

What about singaporean citizens who currently reside overseas? i.e. work posting overseas/overseas studies

SIA would be sending their cadets to HM Aerospace Langkawi Malaysia for training soon from reliable source. Not sure why but my guess is Singapore Flying College is in full house.

Question about my application

Dear all my friends.
I just registered in this forum. Please me to introduce myself. I am indonesian and i was applied for the cadet pilot programme for international on march 2018.
When i checked my application at SIA site, it says that my application status is in review.
Would you all guys mind to tell me, what it means?
Is it still a chance for me as indonesian to get this job?
I have been waiting for the answer for my application status since march 2018 till now, am i qualified for this job or no?
Is there any indonesian that passed all the stages and officially become a cadet pilot at SIA by this programme?

I'll be waiting for your help and response regarding all my questions.

Hello all,

I am new to this forum. I have been going through the threads about Singapore Airlines cadet pilot program. I have applied for this program recently, on 9th of June 2018. I have been checking regularly for any changes in the review status. I have noticed that the last modified date has been changing.
when I applied, the date was 09/06/2018. when I checked again later, it was 12/06/2018 , it again changed to 15/06/2018. I am not able to understand that happening. I have no idea on how to get in touch with the HR people. Is there any way we can get in touch with them?

Kindly Help me out with this.

Anyone received an invitation to the cadet pilot preliminary interview on the 7th/8th July (Malaysian applicants)? For those whom have been invited, would be great to convene together prior to the interview.
