I just found out that my interview appointment in SIA career portal has been removed from the interview section. It was listed with status "confirmed" until yesterday. Is it normal or should I call up and check with them?

Hello forumers, good day. I happened to stumble on this website and then this thread. Great to learn that there are people here attending interviews with SIA. Can I ask if there's anyone who attended first round interview on 3rd April still waiting to hear from the company? Good luck to all applying.

Congrats. That means you are joining course 146 in May?

Really wish to know if there are anyone scheduled to go for Final Round interview these few weeks. I am still waiting for a reply from SIA. Anyone with me?

I don't know about the frequency. What I read from a cadet's posting somewhere is that the number has temporarily reduced to about 120cadets per year. ~15cadets or less per course. You can derive some indications from here.

Cadets, pls correct me if I am wrong.

@ Dmits

Yes sir, that figure seems about right after they decided to cut back on the cadet intake.

Congrats and see you on 14th May!

Cheers!

Congrats and enjoy your OBS then training to becoming an aviator.

For me, I am still waiting for news after my first round on 3rd Apr. Is it normal to wait this long or it means I have no more chance already?

Thanks.

Question Interview notification

BTW, how will SIA inform us for the final interview? Is it through phone or through email?

Cactus_B, thanks for the info.

randomx, it will usually be via email. At times, HR may call. So keep your phone on as well.
How was your interview? I suppose you are eagerly waiting for news as well?

Cactus_B, one question. I saw my online application Cadet Pilot(Singapore) jobphrase greyed out. Is this not a good sign?

I was told specifically 118 cadets this year by management. Projected to be like this for these 3 years, but of cuz subject to change.

Dmits, thanks. I keep on getting anxious whenever I receive a new mail or receive a phone call now, haha...

My interview was fine, I stated a couple of things which turned out to be inaccurate in the beginning. The interviewer corrected me for that, but after the interview he mentioned that he saw my interest in flying. Hope that's a good sign.

My Cadet Pilot (Singapore) phrase is also greyed out in the system... I think it's normal, so long as it doesn't say "Rejected".

Congrats to Cactus_B and SG Aviator! All the best for the course, and hopefully some of us here can join you guys too in the future.
