hey guys..first time user here...its kinda cool that everyone is keepin each other informed..i did my med on the 16th of sept..and now waiting anxiously for the offer letter...heard from everyone that there's an OBS intake on nov..hope they get us in for that one...anyone knows how many ppl do they accept in one intake?? ...well il join u guys n keep ya'll informed abt my waiting period status!?!?! hehe..

hi max. oct 13 batch is around 25 people. i think that is the maximum size already. cross yr fingers.

Glad to see another thread coming up, Just wish that the way we are being called up is more systematic.... I did my med in 23 Jul, imagine this my batch still have another 4 more havent been called up, including me... sigh...

forza.. do you have any slightest clue why you aren't call up yet? could it be you have underwent lasik, medically unfit or poor eyesight (just my assumption, no offence)?

i dun think is first come first serve also. must have choosing system. not sure if the scoring matix thing really is true or not.

Its ok for asking, well for your info. according to the RSAF medical checkup I have perfect eyesight, hearing and medically fit. nothing wrong with me mentally or physically.. My other mates are also perfectly fine... only thing i can think of is age i guess... cause i turn 25 only in early Oct. correct me if im wrong and perhaps i told them that i needed 6 wks notice... well like all of you will say we just have to wait and thats all we can do, calling them up will be a waste of time and all you know is its in progress, we'll inform you once you are selected... blah blah blah... hopefully i can join the Nov batch since i passed my bday... sigh...................

From what I heard, there will only be a OBS batch in Jan 2006mafter the NOV batch due to the monsoon season which will affect the OBS training and the flying training....

yeah another day without news...anyway have anyone in this thread tried to call SIA?....

Wow forza...thats a long long wait....u really have the patience so do your friends....anyway i think everyone who are still waiting after the final interview for this year's candidates will be fitted into the NOV batch..i'm guessing...its all up to SIA....

hey babygod..5 of us got thru the second interview..i guess none of us has been called yet..as for me im a fresh grad n have no obligations whatsoever yet they havent contacted me..probably the employment pass thingie caught us up..just praying that they contact us soon...

I am Gavin here, went for the medical checkup at the end of August. Most of my group went for the 13th Nov OBS, left me and my other friend still waiting for the news. Hope we will be called up soon and meet up with u guys. Till then, Chill...

Is there an intake on the 13 Nov?? I think its 13 Oct.. its unlikely that the next intake is so soon after 13 Oct..
