Snowbirds at Camrose, Alberta

Some of the best pictures of the Snowbirds that I have ever seen. Posted with permission from the photographer, my friend Jordan Lewis:

Before anyone asks, here are Jordan's comments on the shots:

Shot with a Nikon d850 and 200-500 lens. 1/2500 F5.6 auto iso. Lands about 200iso most shots. Shoot the crossings with both eyes open. Know which jet will be closest and on top and track that one. The rest is pure luck!

INDIA FOUR TWO, saw them do a pass over Millwoods to honor Chris Bellchamber who turned 100 years old on Wednesday. Mr Bellchamber served in the RAF Bomber Command in WWII and then Maritime Patrols for the RCAF.
PS your friend is very talented and lucky (his words)

In late September of 1999 I was fortunate to see the The Snowbirds perform a one-off, mid-week, never to be repeated demonstration in Aspen. If only I had a capable camera, the requisite skill and the good luck of Jordan Lewis. Did I mention it was Aspen in Autumn?

Jordan Lewis has genuine talent;
Yes, not bad for an amateur photographer. He is a fireman in his day job.
