Malaysian Police 139 down

https://www.thestar.com.my/news/nation/2020/02/27/six-cops-injured-in-chopper-crash-in-tawau-cause-unknown

KOTA KINABALU: Six policemen were injured when the helicopter they were travelling in crashed in Tawau on Thursday evening (Feb 27).

Tawau OCPD Asst Comm Peter Umbuas said the incident happened at about 6.15pm.

“The policemen on board escaped with injuries, ” he said.

He added that the helicopter crashed into the General Operations Forces (GOF) camp.

“We are not sure what caused the crash. Investigations are ongoing, ” ACP Umbuas said.

The six policemen were being treated at the Tawau Hospital, and they would only be asked about the incident once their conditions were stable, he said.

That one looks well bent. I think, time to order a new one. It seems a few 139's have been meeting their demise recently.

Has anyone noticed how many 139s involved in survivable (and survived) crashes end up on their side with the main cabin virtually intact?
