VS A330 LHR-JFK, 18/02/20

Does anyone have any info on the ground incident which resulted, apparently, in damage to the aircraft and cancelled flight?

Flight number?

As far as I can see, all 4 VS LHR-JFK flights operated on the 18th.

Isn't that flight normally an A350, rather than an A330?

VS137 is usually an A35K, occasionally an A333 or A346.

Of the A330s, all were flying or away from base on the afternoon of the 18th, so it must have been a very rapid repair ...

Edit: Just seen the above post, if an A35K it was presumably G-VPOP, which was static at LHR from the 18th to the 22nd while the tin-bashers did their thing.

Okay - the info I was given was incorrect. Thanks, folks. My interest is that my daughter was supposed to be on VS137, was delayed 8 hours then put on a flight to BOS followed by bus journey 5 hours to NY.

Not lot of tin on the A350 for the tin bashers to bash any more.
