What you need is a restricted type rating based on a 3rd country licence (i.e. your GCAA licence). EASA fully provides for this but for some reason the UK CAA has decided not to adopt it.

If you are leaving the company they are one of the approved company's that Emirates will pay your relocation costs to.

BA pilot recruitment is closed for the time being. But they are taking on somewhere around 300 pilots next year, many are direct entry FO. A number of those are definitely coming from Emirates.
