Hi Airuts,

Why I left

Hi Mama,

Your recent post explains why I left Nigeria almost two years ago. I started flying for BHL in 1990 and it was easy to see the political changes taking place (ie.the Biafra now posters)....

BIAFRA Reborn

Hi Sasless,

Being a betting man myself, I wonder if you've heard what the odds are of Biafra being recognized by the UN?

Curious,

Things are Changing?

Hi SASless,

It looks like the MEND organization is more than some wantabe gangsters. They claim to have actually not used a third bomb because of civilian casualities. This is the kind of thinking...

Hi Archos

I LOVE A GOOD RUMOR! Right now I'm having way to much fun to be interrupted. Besides I didn't show enough respect for management? More later from Las Vegas.

Hi Stan Switek

Hi Stan,

You are right that security can be provided that would make it more difficult to attack expats. However, that would be attacking the government monopoly on power. The oil companies and...

Expats who work longterm

Hi Chuks,

It's always been my opinion that expats who work for a long time in Nigeria are similar to long time prison inmates. They both seem to become institutionalized and have to readjust to...

Bristow Management Response

Hi Froggy_Pilot

Wonder if Bristow Management will be able to use the "it's a one off event" management position? After all it didn't even happen in Lagos!

Hi Nick,

As an old Charlie model driver, I can really appreciate the DAP. I always liked having two extra pairs of eyes in the air, and extra firepower if you ended up on the ground. The DAP would...

Hi Sasless,

I thought you could remember we use to do that all the time. It wasn't until after 1995 that Shell went dual pilot.
