I'm sure I read somewhere that they have to keep those 7 for BHX and MAN to CDG as having jets on those routes is part of the deal with Air France otherwise they would've got rid of them all.

WizzAir will be operating flights from Budapest and Debrecen to Cardiff on the 19th November with the return flights on the 20th November for the Wales v Hungary Euro 2020 qualifier....

If you look at the parts they said they are meant for its their low cost arms so maybe they feel that the 737 is better for that type of operation and makes them more competitive against the LCCs....

How would it be too big? Both Wizz and Easyjet both operate similar capacity aircraft and seem to be doing ok. I'm sure Ryanair would be fine operating a similar sized aircraft. Lauda already does.

Yep overall the airport is going in the right direction and the Qatar route as well seems to be growing. I think its just about awareness and getting people look at Cardiff as their first option....

As for KLM that 737 was odd. I'm starting to believe it may have been Brexit related so KLM can keep the 4th frequency if they wanted to.
