Thanks for all the posts - Have come to the conclusion that cranking, although not needed, is a healthy habit to have regardless of whether it is needed or not.

Leaning mixture = increase in RPM

If someone could explain why leaning the mixture in a RH22 your RPM would increase. Is it a better mixture and therefore better power stroke? :ugh:
