In regards to aircraft used, I'd imagine from say, September onwards they would use the original aircraft planned as I think a lot of people with prior bookings would be waiting to see what happened...

I was recently on an ATR72 flight. Domestic terminal was at the opposite end to the TDZ. Instead of touching down at the beginning of the runway we didn't touch down until about 2/3 of the way down...
