The newest Egyptian airline, Air Arabia Egypt, received its AOC today and will launch HBE-KRT from 01JUN and HBE-KWI from 02JUN with 2 A320 aircraft.

The fourth aircraft (SU-KBD) has been flying since February.

The fifth aircraft hasn't been delivered yet. The ex-Iberia model (EC-HQK) is still stored in Madrid.

Do you mean 5th aircraft? The airline have 4 aircraft in their fleet (3x A320s and 1x A319). The 4th one (SU-KBD) was delivered in December 2009.

Yes I heard the B735s will join Alexandria Airlines & Jordan Aviation. Currently KHH (Alexandria Airlines) operate a single B735 (ex-Luxair).

So the 6 E-170s arriving next year will not stay long?...

The B735s were originally due to leave the fleet in 2003 when the then 5 new A320s arrived but their retirement was postponed due to an upsurge in traffic.

The remaining 7 B738s and 6 E-170s...
